If you lined up the 10,000 airplanes that attended OSH his year, wing tip to wing tip ( quite a feat in and of itself) you would have a line of airplanes that exceeds 50 miles. Statute miles of course.
If you added up the ages of all 10,000 aircraft at OSH and extended the sum into the past, it would span a period so long that its beginning would predate the rise of Homo sapiens.
