I don't know when the live exam with the AME was scheduled for, but as others have said, cancel it and see what Dr. Chien advises. He is the expert. Going to the AME without knowing you will be issued a certificate based on a consult could have avoidable negative consequences for future flying.
I just note that you state you are almost 10 years without any psych meds or recurrence. The described suicidal ideation is on the very low end of that type of thinking. I think there is a good chance this could have a positive outcome.
