What do people think of the new Deltahawk engine?
Looks nice as it runs on jet fuel, auto gas, and diesel.

As with any of the diesel or " high compression engine" used in aircraft they have their place. But they usually only excel in specific niche markets vs as an overall replacement for existing conventional aircraft engines. There seems to be a resurgence of diesel offerings of late, especially on the helicopter side. However, my understanding its more due to the "clean power" aspects of a diesel than performance related improvements.
