So I am studying for the CFII exam now and was chatting with my wife about the requirement for a generator or alternator for instrument flight. This got us to discussing whether they did instrument flight without electrical systems (using venturis and vacuum) and then got me thinking about what sort of electronics controlled the V-2 rocket.
