I took Sir Harry Garner for a flight in my Super Cub. He was Briton's Chief Scientist between the wars.

He was knighted by King George "V", I "think?"
I have a picture of him and Lady Garner, which I want to publish on Wiki.

I can't find when, why, and for why, he was knighted. You'd think this type of info would be readily available.
