My 1964 S35 Bonanza has an old Brittain B5 autopilot. If it worked I would find this sort of quaint and fitting with the aircraft. However, the vacuum lines are apparently in fairly bad shape and so it seems unlikely to be worthwhile to replumb the whole thing hoping the controller will work.
I am thus looking for a replacement system. My first choice would likely be something that works with the existing instruments which are a vacuum driven HSI and turn coordinator. After that I suppose an isolated GPS based system.
