Mark Baker is the the new president of AOPA

While Mark has an extensive flying background, I was hoping he has more work experience in aviation like running an airport or an FBO for example.

"Mark also served in senior executive roles at Scotts Miracle-Gro Company...."

Seems to have some experience in that line of work.

"Most recently, he served as CEO of Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corporation,... also served in senior executive roles at ... The Home Depot and other companies in the industry."

Soon experimental aircraft owners wont be the only ones who will be able to buy aircraft replacement parts at the local hardware store.
