Update AM Radio overlay maps available - 22 Jan 23

An updated set of overlay maps showing AM radio stations in the US is now available at Am Radio Overlay Maps. These can be loaded directly into Foreflight so if you have a working ADF you can use it to guide yourself to these points.

I have now divided the overlays based on the groupings of the Chart Supplements.

Cool...but I just dropped Foreflight! LOL. I had something similar saved on Foreflight of all the clear-channel AM stations...not so much for guiding, but for using my ADF for entertainment.

The overlays are just .kml files so should work in any flight bag which can import those. My son and I have often listened to a lot of country western out west here.

Cool I will have to try them with whatever new efb I go with…which reminds me, I think I’ll start a thread in a day or two looking for suggestions from those flyers like me that bailed from foreflight…I’m still undecided what to switch to.
