These aircraft are generally worth a few hundred million so I can see the motivation. Wonder what sort of issues there were with it sitting so long.

A Wizz Air jet stuck in Ukraine since Russia invaded landed in Poland after appearing to turn off its transponder and flying at just 10,000 feet.

"Just 10,000"? If it were me, 500 feet would have been fine...although maybe then the Ukrainians would shoot them down.
