I was just out doing my checkout flight this AM in this new to me ship. It is fast and I sometimes felt like “what have I done?”. Happy with the purchase so far.

Is that number 3 or 4 aircraft you now own?
I seem to recall you have (or had) a Cardinal, a glider (make/model escapes me), a C-150, and now a Bonanza?

I guess you caught me 
I think of this as just a reasonable number of aircraft. The Cardinal is good for pleasure flights around Arizona. And the Bonanza is good for longer cross-countries. And if one is going to do aerobatics than an Aerobat is needed. And for soaring one has to have a glider.
At least this is how I try and sell it to my family.

I had been thinking this plane was not making book speeds recently. But then my son pointed out that we were doing 163 TAS on 65% power today in cruise on the way home from Mogollon. So that is just about book or perhaps a bit quicker.
Definitely enjoying this ship now that its annual is finally done.
