iPad memory issue

Ok, so I have an issue with my iPad 2

I've been watching TV episodes from iTunes but I'm having an issue, if I have to cancel a download I am loosing the memory. Example, I just had to kill a download in progress and lost 600megs off my available storage. Any help with deleting this data? It is gone from downloads and is not showing in videos. This has happened several times and has eaten several GB of memory:mad2:

Have you looked in the Settings app under General -> Usage and then clicked on the Videos app to see if it appears there?
