Here is a thread to make a goto list of Airports in America (land of capitalism and freedom and all that) that do NOT allow competition. By not allowing private enterprise to set up business and compete with the local government run FBO they are not allowing free and open markets to thrive, IMO.
They do this by restricting fuel sales. If I own an FBO but cannot pump fuel how can I possibly compete? And why do I have to compete with the freaking government?
This is NOT a forum to complain about the government. I don't want this thing to end up in the SpinZone. This isn't left or right, red or blue, donkey or elephant. This is simply a list of airports that employ this monopolistic attitude as a means for pilots to see and avoid if they agree with that point of view.
Please keep the list current by copying the list above your post and adding your airport input into the mix in alphabetical order.
