Two DUI’s seven years ago.. should I not try?

hey guys! Kind of buried the dream of ever being a polit along time ago. When I was 19 I was an absolute mess.. managed to get two DUI’s in a matter of a months span apart. Since than I have recovered and have been sober 7 years to the date actually. Should I not pursue this career as a flight instructor or anything having to do with flying??? Thank you guys

There are many other jobs/employers for pilots. Pipeline patrol, flying freight, etc. some of these will be less picky about a past history than the majors.
