In January of 24 I visited this small "Shrine to Aviation" with a "Portal of the Folded Wings" in a cemetery just south of the Burbank airport. You can actually see the dome of this monument from the airport as it is just off the departure end of KBUR's runway 15.
This was apparently constructed when the cemetery was first being set up in 1924. I contains the interred ashes of a number of famous aviation pioneers.
Charles Taylor, the Wright Brothers' mechanic is interred here - which is how I first heard of this place.

There used to be a small aviation museum inside but that is moving to a new location.
