Oldest 757s in Service

Not sure this is an indictment of the 757. Delta's 757 fleet has an average age of like 30 years.

So I looked it up, N672DL is 32 year old jet which was delivered by Boeing when George H.W. Bush was president. This seems more like an issue with Delta using aged aircraft to save money and engaging in substandard maintenance.

I would actually posit a different argument that the Boeing 757 is the last true Boeing designed for pilots by engineers rather than designed by accountants for shareholders.
