So I was going to simply look on Craigslist and meet somebody local, but then I figured I should ask here.

Does anyone have an old tablet / laptop / netbook ?

I just need to browse the web, download files, etc.

I have no idea what they cost new - I guess if they can be had for less than $200 I should simply wait for the famous "Cyber Monday" or whatever.

Does anyone have anything like this to sell for cheap?

Maybe now I can run a flight simulator? Do I need a joystick? Is this computer good enough?

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 should run OK. But FS X might not run as smoohly since it is presumably more demanding.

A joystick is advisable but not, I believe, absolutely required.
