Not if you haven’t seen the~12 episodes of the series. Otherwise, a lot of aspects of the movie will confuse you.

Speaking of 'leaf on the wind'. That is how I often describe the feeling of being 12000 feet up in a glider with no engine riding thermals. One is just up playing on the edge of a large very powerful thermal system in a machine specially designed to be like an intelligent leaf than can exploit small changes. I find it sort of incredible that we humans can do that.
